Kawasaki K16G Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Reviews
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Decent for the price., December 28, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kawasaki K16G Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) (Sports) I purchased this bike for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. It is a nice looking little bike, and assembly was fairly easy, however it seems the overall quality of the bike is fair at best. I encountered one major problem when assembled ling it when I discovered the front fork that holds the front wheel was badly bent. This was not damage, it obviously came from the factory this way. We were forced to stick it in a vice and bend it back into shape in order to fit the front tire on. Other than this, there were no problems. It was a little scary doing this on Christmas eve and worrying we might not be able to put it together. Even with the problem we encountered, assembly did not take more than 30-45 minutes. For the price, it seems to be a decent little bike. My daughter loved it and has had no issues riding it. It seems to be a good size for her. She is about 43" tall and weighs about 50lbs. Hope this helps.
Good for a beginners bike, January 3, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kawasaki K16G Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) (Sports) The bike looks better in real life. The packaging was not the greatest and I had to do some adjustments on some of the pieces that were already assembled. The goose neck bearings were poorly lubed and the lock nut for the goose neck was over tightened. Other than these minor deficiencies, the bike looked great and my Niece loved it.
Damaged in Shipping, Like the Others, January 1, 2012 By Garrick Updegraph (RCHO STA MARG, CA USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Kawasaki K16G Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) (Sports) Because of the cheap way it was packed with the front forks positioned on a corner of the box, those forks were badly bent during shipping. I fear until Kawasaki spends a few more cents in packaging every one of these bikes will be susceptible to the same damage. As such, I will be looking elsewhere for my child's bike.
